Free Games - Never A Last Resort!

It was a dark and stormy night... and you were bored. There was nothing on television... So you decided to amuse yourself on the internet. Youtube was down for maintenance, and you had no privacy... what could you do? What would you do? And then BAM!! It hit you! You'd play free games!

Free games are a great way to burn some time, without burning any money. They're easily accessible, and you don't have to worry about giving out credit card information and being scammed. There are virtually no restrictions on who can play. There are as many types of games as there are types of gamers. There are difficult ones, easy ones, and everything in between.

There are fast paced action games that will give you temporary excitement, and maybe even an adrenaline rush. There are adventure games, to spice up the dreary, dismal sense of reality that sometimes encumbers everyone. There are puzzle games to challenge and exercise your mind, shooting games to practice your aim and give an easy stress release. And many other categories, in the world of free online games

Free games can let you live in a fantasy world, if only for a few minutes. Sometimes a fantasy world is a well needed break from reality, when reality gets too heavy. It can be great to be someone else, and do things that aren't possible in real life. Games can help activate the imagination, by introducing an imaginary environment. In a way, they're like reading a book. But they're easier than a book. A free game only takes a few minutes, whereas a book may take days to complete. A free game is free, but a book costs money. This isn't to say free games are better than books. I love books. But games are simply easier; they're fast, require minimal effort, and cost nothing.

Free games can even be educational. But not in a dull textbook sort of way. Many free games involve basic math, speed, timing/rhythm, etc. There are even puzzle games, meant to challenge your mind! Some games involve English skills and wordplay. Many games involve basic logic. So in essence, games can benefit your mind but they certainly don't bore you in the process.

Back to that dark and stormy night. After deciding to play free games, you were able to spend the next hour or so entertained. Playing games, having fun, and winning, all at no cost! So, dark and stormy or not, next time you're bored, consider a free game.
